Groep5700, a specialist and diverse communications agency, found its place at the Brainport Human Campus two and a half years ago. The team consists of owners Udo Holtappels and Jorgen Bijsterveld, and colleagues Lisa, Eline, Frederique, Ingrid and Kim. Together they bring complex communication projects to life. As Udo says, "When it's complex projects, we make it manageable. That's how we are at our best." But why did they choose our campus? And are they now reaping the benefits of it?
Why Brainport Human Campus?
For Groep5700, the choice to settle on the Brainport Human Campus was a logical step. Originally they were in Aarle-Rixtel, in a beautiful building. But the Helmond owners found a location closer to their customers interesting. Through regular cooperation partner Kim van Uden of Buro Boost they heard about our campus, and after one visit they were convinced. "It's more dynamic here, livelier. There is more movement and interaction than at our old location," says Udo.
More than an inspiring workplace
The campus offers Groep5700 not only an inspiring workplace with all facilities under one roof, but also opportunities for collaboration and spontaneous meetings. "We already had a fine cooperation with Beck Communications. The fact that they are also located on campus makes it even easier to connect. You just walk into each other's offices. Thanks to the approachable atmosphere, we can also easily connect with other tenants such as Ter AA and the Learning Lab.
An example where this works very nicely is the "80 Years of Freedom" project, which has strengthened several collaborations. For example, students from Ter AA were involved to interview refugees from Helmond and students from the Learning Lab provided coaching to the Ter AA students. Because we are all on campus, the collaboration went very easily.
The campus is a place that is accessible to everyone. From cyclists enjoying a coffee break at Jan&Koek to businesses using the meeting rooms. Inclusiveness has also really received a boost with the arrival of Ter AA."
Work in an inspiring environment
The focus on work happiness, people orientation and sustainability can be seen in everything. The green outdoor grounds, modern workspaces and facilities such as brasseries and meeting rooms create an environment where people can perform at their best. "Everyone is jealous of our workplace," Udo says with a smile. "But the smell of freshly baked cookies from Jan&Koek, which we are right above, is tough though," Udo continues with a laugh.
Collaborations and Opportunities
Udo sees plenty of opportunities for further collaborations within the campus. Although they already have strong connections with other tenants, they believe there is even more potential to collaborate on innovative projects that put people, work and society at the center.
Impact on people, work and society
The Brainport Human Campus is all about connecting people from business, education and government to promote job happiness. With more than 30 organizations, the campus provides a platform for knowledge sharing, inclusiveness and talent development. It is not just another workplace; it is a community where spontaneous encounters lead to innovation and growth.
Groep5700 fits perfectly within this vision. Their expertise in communications aligns seamlessly with the campus' commitment to connection and social impact.
