Brainport Human Campus is part of the Driessen Groep family. As a family of companies, we are aware of the impact we have on our environment. We believe it is important to make a positive impact and place great value on sustainability. That is why we make demands on the parties we work with and the services and products we purchase. In this way we ensure that our principles are reflected in the chain and we purchase with impact.
In addition to a good price-quality ratio, we set the following requirements in the context of People, Planet and Profit.
Within Driessen Groep, happiness at work is central. Personal and professional are our core values. We do not enter into relationships with parties who do not share our norms and values, as these may detract from our mission to enable sustainable work happiness. For more information, please refer to the Moreal Compass.
We expect our suppliers to act as good employers towards their employees. Violation of human rights or child labor does not occur in their chains. In addition, they pay their employees no less than the legal minimum wage and provide social security that complies with (inter)national legislation. We also expect suppliers to prioritize the health, safety and development of their employees. Reliable suppliers with whom we establish long-term relationships increase supply reliability and reduce business risks. We work on the basis of mutual respect.
In order to stimulate the local economy and reduce the burden on the environment, we want to source as many services and products locally as possible. This stimulates employment and reduces the impact of transportation.
We want to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible. In cooperation with our suppliers, we do not consume unnecessary raw materials and waste is reused or recycled wherever possible. Therefore, we only buy products of sufficient quality and take longevity into account. We expect suppliers to take responsibility in the field of sustainable purchasing, reuse, recycling and CO2 reduction.
We prefer to work with suppliers who are committed to charities and / or provide opportunities for people with a distance to the labor market (inclusiveness).
Driessen Groep has reached step 4 of the CSR performance ladder. An achievement based on the international ISO-26000 standard. This certification shows that the Driessen Groep companies are among the top 25% of the market on important CSR themes such as Good Employment Practice, Diversity & Inclusion and Training & Development.
