Wendy Springvloet, director at Reijn, has known the organization since its inception. After completing her HR studies, she started as a trainee at Driessen Groep fourteen years ago. Today, she contributes daily to the organization’s continued development from her role at Reijn.
“I really grew up within the Driessen Group,” she says. “It’s my first employer, and I’ve learned and experienced so much here over the past few years.”
A welcoming place
For Reijn, the choice of the Brainport Human Campus is more than just a practical location. “Of course, it made sense to set up shop on the campus. After all, we’re part of the Driessen Group. But the campus’s atmosphere helps tremendously,” says Wendy.
“The campus is a pleasant place for people, a place they enjoy being. Everyone who walks through the door wants to work with us.” That applies not only to job applicants but also to consultants, clients, freelancers, and business partners.
For Reijn’s consultants, the campus serves an especially important purpose. Because they primarily work on-site at clients’ locations, colleagues don’t see each other every day. That’s precisely why a central home base is so valuable. A place where they can meet, share experiences, and maintain their connection with Reijn.
“Our consultants really feel like they’re coming home here. Even though they spend a lot of time working at client sites, they love being here,” says Wendy. “It’s precisely the informal moments that make all the difference. Having lunch together, going for a walk, grabbing a cup of coffee, or spontaneously playing a game of ping-pong. Those are the moments when connections are formed and you feel like you’re part of the same team.”
The open and relaxed atmosphere of the campus contributes greatly to this. Employees experience a great deal of freedom and flexibility in their workday, while the focus on results remains. This ensures that people enjoy going to work.

Wendy notices that it’s easy to connect with other organizations on campus. “It’s easy to just pop in to ask a question, brainstorm, or exchange ideas. The presence of various companies and areas of expertise regularly leads to new insights and opportunities for collaboration. Within the family of companies, it’s very easy to make connections, and when the need arises, you can quickly find common ground with other organizations on campus.”
Clients also experience the added value of the campus. “We regularly hear that they’re impressed by the atmosphere, the surroundings, and the facilities. The campus exudes professionalism without feeling overly business-like. This creates a relaxed setting where connections and collaboration happen naturally.”
“The campus helps us share our story in a consistent way,” says Wendy. “Because there are so many organizations here that also focus on people, work, and social impact, it feels logical and natural.” The location suits Reijn: professional, accessible, and people-oriented, with an environment where people feel welcome.

With their own colorful array of HRM professionals (and a traineeship program even called “Color Givers”), Reijn’s employees help bring color to the Brainport Human Campus.
