Now that the sun is showing itself in full force, we want to get outside. For a walk, to exercise but also for meetings, brainstorming or lunch with colleagues. The outdoor area of our Brainport Human Campus in Helmond lends itself perfectly to this. In various places it is pleasant to relax. To ensure that our grounds are accessible to everyone, the Driessen Foundation, an initiative of the Driessen Groep, has installed a wheelchair-friendly picnic bench. This will allow our wheelchair-bound colleagues and visitors to use the enjoyment spots on campus without hindrance.
Together we make a difference
The picnic table was made possible in part by colleagues from the family of companies of Driessen Groep who donated their year-end gift to the Driessen Foundation during the past Christmas gathering. They have supplemented this budget to have the picnic table made by Uit de Buurtfabriek, a workshop where people distanced from the labor market, designers and makers work together to create beautiful custom furniture.
Work happiness
This is how we contribute to inclusive work happiness within the gates of our campus while creating work happiness for the volunteers of Uit de Buurtfabriek. Work happiness squared. It makes us very happy too.
